I can hardly put into words the joy and pride I felt when my name was announced as part of the final Banyana Banyana squad for women’s Africa Cup of Nations 2024.Every call-up is special, but this one hits different .It’s not just a tournament, it’s a chance to fight for my country once more and to do what I love most alongside my teammates.
I’m honoured to Wear the jersey.There’s nothing quite like putting on the green and gold.Representing South Africa means playing for something bigger than myself -for my teammates ,my community and every young girl who dreams of playing on this stage.Every time I step onto the pitch ,I’m fuelled by a deep sense of pride and the desire to leave everything out there .
As we prepare for the tournament ,the energy in camp is incredible .We know what’s at stake and we are ready to give our all.My goal is simple: Enjoy the tournament, enjoy football and everything will come naturally after that.
