Back-to-back losses after being crowned the African champions, in our last match at Moses Mabhida stadium (0-6) hammering. This international friendly was a great litmus test for us, to play against top-ranked teams in the world, before the World Cup. Against Brazil aka Canarinhas, we got to see our weaknesses & now we are working on them.
As we head towards the upcoming international FIFA break, Banyana-Banyana will be playing another international friendly against Australia, the co-hosting nation of the Women’s World Cup 2023. I am really looking forward to seeing how we have improved from our previous game against Brazil (Copa America Femenina winners) And most importantly giving a good game to Australia when we meet them in London.
