On 20 June 2022, Desiree Ellis head coach of Banyana Banyana announced the final 23-woman squad to represent South Africa at the Africa Women’s Cup of Nations in Morocco from 2-23 July.
It’s with great pleasure and honour that I have made the final 23-woman squad representing South Africa in the continental showpiece. I would love to take the opportunity to thank coach Desiree Ellis and the technical team for placing me on the squad that will be heading to Morocco. My heart is filled with joy and excitement for our fans that will be supporting us throughout the continental show-piece tournament.
Our campaign begins against current holders and Group C opponents Nigeria on Monday, 4 July 2022.
